Riven Tides is ARC Raiders' coastal battleground — a deserted western shoreline in the Rust Belt that has been abandoned twice. First during the Exodus, when civilians fled the planet through the towering Exodus Port docked in the bay. Then a second time, when First Wave survivors attempting to reclaim the settlement were overrun by ARC forces. What remains is a haunting stretch of overgrown beachfront: the faded luxury of the Panorama Azzurro hotel overlooking sand-choked streets, a cavernous industrial harbour crammed with abandoned shipping containers, and a dockyard crane network rusting in salt air.
Riven Tides is the only map where the ARC Turbine — the game's first airborne boss — spawns and patrols. This massive aerial machine drifts across the coastline, nearly impervious while airborne, and descends to land with devastating lightning strike attacks. Planning your raid around the Turbine's 16-minute spawn window is essential: it drops the exclusive Turbine Compressor needed for top-tier crafting, and ignoring it means leaving Riven Tides' most valuable material on the field.
The open coastal terrain distinguishes Riven Tides from the game's indoor-heavy maps. Engagements happen across exposed beaches, container yards, and rooftop terraces. The Beachcombing map condition rewards Raiders who carry the Dockmaster's Detector — sweeping the sand uncovers buried stash caches invisible to everyone else. Combined with the Panorama Azzurro's lavish interior loot and the container yard's dense stack of Raider caches, Riven Tides offers some of the richest loot density in the game for squads willing to master its unique vertical hazards and the Turbine threat.
Primary extraction via the main harbour gate at the dockyard entrance. Exposed approach through the container yard but the fastest route for players already near the port.
Vehicle extract point at the northern coastal road leading inland. Long run from most POIs but rarely contested since it's far from the main loot zones.
Helicopter extraction from the Panorama Azzurro rooftop. Offers a commanding view of incoming threats but requires reaching the hotel's upper floors first.
Three underground hatch extraction points scattered across the beach and container yard. Fastest solo escapes but hidden — mark them on your map during early exploration.
A once-luxurious beachfront hotel now looted and weathered by years of abandonment. Multiple floors with dense furniture spawns, guest room loot, and a rooftop bar. One of the best loot-per-square-metre locations on the map.
The towering dockyard where the last civilian transports departed. Crane networks, container stacks, and shipping infrastructure crammed with Raider caches and heavy weapon spawns.
Dense field of shipping containers with 25+ container spawns and 29 Raider cache locations. Excellent material farming but open sightlines make it dangerous without cover discipline.
The open beach area where the ARC Turbine descends to land. Appears 16–12 minutes into the match. The most dangerous encounter on the map — and the most rewarding.
Sandy stretches along the coastline where buried loot caches can be uncovered during the Beachcombing map condition. Use the Dockmaster's Detector to sweep for 72 possible dig sites.
A quest objective location tied to the First Foothold contract. Contains unique interaction points and rewards for completing the associated mission during a live raid.
Riven Tides is one of the high risk-difficulty zones in ARC Raiders, featuring 4 extraction points, 6 named POIs, and a High-Tier loot tier. This is a high-stakes map — Raiders pushing this zone can pull top-tier weapons, augments, and crafting components, but the ARC patrols are denser and the rat traffic at extracts is brutal. Bring at least Medium shields, full ammo, and a teammate if you can.
The most reliable extraction routes on Riven Tides run through Harbour Gate, Coastal Road, Hotel Roof (and 1 other extracts depending on your spawn corridor). Extract camping is the single biggest threat on this map — file a bounty on our bounty board if a rat catches you at the loadout screen, since named extracts are predictable hot spots for ambushers. Prioritise running with weapons that match your engagement range: a mid-range workhorse weapon to handle ARC patrols efficiently. See our weapon tier list for current Nomadic Envoys patch 1.29.0 meta picks.
Notable POIs include Panorama Azzurro Hotel, Exodus Port, Container Yard, ARC Turbine Landing Zone and 2 more landmarks scattered across the map — each one rotating between loot, ARC spawns, and PvP hotspots depending on the patrol cycle. Riven Tides hosts 1 confirmed ARC enemy type, including ARC Turbine. Check each enemy's weak points before you push — burning through a magazine on body shots is the fastest way to draw every rat in the zone. For real-time intel on rat activity, betrayer reports, and live danger zones, scan the community zone map before queueing in.
