Fully plated ball-shaped ARC machines that roll at high speed to crush players. Rollbots are heavily armored from all angles while in ball form, making them resistant to sustained fire. Their primary attack is simply rolling over you with tremendous force.
Rollbots patrol in a rolling ball configuration, fully encased in heavy armor plating. When they detect a player, they accelerate rapidly and attempt to roll directly over the target. Their attacks are telegraphed by an increase in speed and a locking trajectory. Easy to dodge by stepping sideways but punishing if they connect. After a charge they slow to turn around for another pass.
The Rollbot is a medium-class ARC machine with 800 HP and a danger rating of 4/5. Medium-class ARC machines are the workhorse threat in ARC Raiders. The Rollbot is dangerous in numbers and will pin you down with sustained fire, but a focused burst into the right weak point ends most engagements in seconds.
The Rollbot has 1 weak point: Seam lines between plates (minimal exposure) (1.5x). Hitting the seam lines between plates (minimal exposure) is the highest-value target — every shot landing there does 1.5x damage compared to body shots, which means you can drop the Rollbot with roughly 11 well-placed precision rounds from a mid-tier rifle. Body shots will work, but you'll burn through three to four times the ammo and pull every ARC patrol within a few hundred metres.
You'll find the Rollbot spawning in Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, Blue Gate, Stella Montis. Common drops include ARC Alloy, ARC Performance Steel, Mechanical Components, which makes it a priority target for Raiders running general scavenging routes — the loot table is reliable even if not flashy.
