Matriarch

Description

Apex-class ARC machine and the deadliest boss in the game. The Matriarch projects an energy shield that blocks all incoming projectiles and has the ability to summon waves of ARC reinforcements. She only spawns during Matriarch events on Dam Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, and Spaceport. She NEVER appears on Stella Montis or Buried City.

Behavior

The Matriarch cycles through attack phases. She projects an energy shield that blocks all projectiles, forcing players to find openings or wait for the shield to drop. She summons waves of ARC reinforcements including Wasps, Hornets, and other enemies to overwhelm players while she attacks from range. Her red core and yellow leg joints are the primary damage targets. At low health she becomes enraged with faster summoning cycles and more aggressive attacks.

• 1Do NOT shoot the energy shield. It absorbs all projectiles. Wait for the shield to drop, then unload on the red core.
• 2Assign teammates to handle ARC reinforcement waves while designated DPS players focus the Matriarch during vulnerability windows.
• 3The Matriarch ONLY spawns on Dam Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, and Spaceport during Matriarch events. She never appears on Stella Montis or Buried City.
• 4Bring your best gear, heavy ammo, and healing supplies. This is the hardest fight in the game with 20,000 HP and constant reinforcement spawns.
